Collector Chassis respects the privacy of visitors to our Site (“you,” a “Visitor”). The following Privacy Policy was created to let you know what information we collect from the Collector Chassis Site and mobile apps on which our service is posted. It also describes how we use and share that information and some of the steps we take to protect your privacy. Services offered by Collector Chassis are not directed to individuals under the age of eighteen (18). Any person who provides their information to Collector Chassis through the Account login page for new users or any other part of the Collector Chassis Site represents to Collector Chassis that he/she is 18 years of age or older. If you are under eighteen (18), you should not provide any personal information to us, and may not use our Site. Some of the information Collector Chassis collects may be “personal information”. This is information that identifies you personally, alone or in combination with other information available to us. Other information may be non-personally identifiable, such as your IP address. This Privacy Policy is part of the Terms of Use that govern your use of this Site (collectively, the “Terms”). In General. We respect your right to make choices about the ways we use, collect and disclose your information. This Privacy Policy describes some of your choices, such as your choice to opt out of receiving “cookies” and to opt out of having your information shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Collector Chassis collects the information you manually provide (using your keyboard, mouse, touchpad, mobile device, or similar) when you use our Site. We gather information provided by users of the Site when users complete an online form or enter information regarding themselves and/or their vehicle(s) including:

• Registering for one of our products or services. This information may include your name, address, telephone number, email address, Social Security Number, and credit card information;
• Express an interest in buying and/or selling a vehicle from one or more of the Sites collectors;
• Apply for credit with one of our finance partners;
• Provide payment card information for one of our products or services;
• Subscribe to newsletters or provide feedback and participate in surveys, sweepstakes or other promotions;
• Participate in chats, web forums or other interactive sessions;
• Make information available to us via social network logins such as Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin and Twitter

This information is either collected as a result of you giving us explicit consent to collect it (such as when you affirmatively enter information into our Site), or to fulfill a contractual relationship or obligation that you are choosing to enter with us, such as by listing or seeking to purchase a vehicle via our services. You may revoke your consent at any time as further detailed in this policy.

Users may visit the Site anonymously. Information regarding your use of the Site may be collected and/or aggregated through the use of automated means. This automatically collected information may include information such as: information we receive from your web browser and device is not, in and of itself, personally identifiable. Generally, we use this information in the aggregate to help us improve this Site and make it more compatible with the technology used by our visitors. However, we may combine it with other information in an attempt to identify you or we may combine it with information that does identify you, including personally identifiable information that you have affirmatively given us. We may also review our server logs for security purposes—for example, to detect intrusions into our network—and we might share our server logs, which contain visitors’ IP addresses, with the appropriate investigative authorities or third parties who could use that information to trace and identify you, or to monitor or repair our Site and the services we provide. Our Collector Chassis Site uses "Cookies" to identify the areas of our Site that you have visited. A Cookie is a small piece of data stored on your computer or mobile device by your web browser. We use Cookies to personalize the Content that you see on our Site. Most web browsers can be set to disable the use of Cookies. However, if you disable Cookies, you may not be able to access functionality on our Site correctly or at all. We never place Personally Identifiable Information, defined elsewhere in these Terms, in Cookies without your prior express consent.

We also use third party tracking tools to improve the performance and features of our Site. These third-party tracking tools are designed to collect only non-personal information about your use of our Site. However, you understand that such tools are created and managed by parties outside our control. As such, we are not responsible for what information is actually captured by such third parties or how such third parties use and protect that information.

We automatically receive information from your web browser or mobile device. This information includes the name of the website from which you entered our Site, if any, as well as the name of the website to which you're headed when you leave our website. This information also includes the IP address of your computer/proxy server that you use to access the Internet, your Internet Website provider name, web browser type, type of mobile device, and computer operating system. We use all of this information to analyze trends among our Users to help improve our Site.

When you use the Site, we may employ clear gifs (also known as web beacons) which are used to anonymously track the online usage patterns of our users anonymously. In addition, we may also use clear gifs in HTML-based emails sent to our users to track which emails are opened and which links are clicked by recipients. The information allows for more accurate reporting and improvement of the Site.

We may use third-party analytics tools to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Site. These tools collect information sent by your browser as part of a web page request, including the web pages you visit, your browser add-ons, your browser’s width and height, and other information that assists us in improving the Service. The third-party analytics services may aggregate the data they collect with data they collect from other websites to enhance their offering of analytical services, but will not use any information they collect for any directed marketing purposes.

When you utilize the Site by or through a mobile device, we may access, collect, monitor and/or remotely store “location data,” which may include GPS coordinates (e.g. latitude and/or longitude) or similar information regarding the location of your mobile device. We may also use various technologies to determine location, such as sensor data from your device that may, for example, provide information on nearby Wi-Fi access points and cell towers. Location data may convey to us information about how you browse and use the Site. We may include applications or widgets from social media providers that allow interaction or content sharing by their users. These widgets, such as a Facebook "Share" or "Like" button, are visible to you on the web page you visit. Integration between the Site and social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter and others may allow social media networks in which you participate to collect information about you, even when you do not explicitly activate the network's application or widget. The privacy policy of the social media network controls the collection, use and disclosure of all personal information transmitted to that network. The information we receive from your mobile device is not personally identifiable, but we may link it to information that identifies you.

}e may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit the Site, register on the Collector Chassis Site, subscribe to the newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form, email us and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on the Collector Chassis Site. Personally Identifiable Information is any information used to identify an individual, including, but not limited to, a first and last name, home or other physical address, an email address, phone number, or other contact information. Collector Chassis collects Personally Identifiable Information from you only when you choose to make it available to us on the Site or via our services, and may include, without limitation, the city where you live, your zip code, your first and last name, your credit card number and card expiration date when you place a request for our services, your billing address, your cell phone number, your email address, information regarding your vehicle and its history, and any personally identifiable information you provide in your communications to prospective buyers or sellers, made through the Site. If you choose to post content to any of the interactive areas of the Site, such as discussion forums, comments fields and social media areas, the information you post can be seen, collected and used by anyone who has access to those areas. Collector Chassis is not responsible for any third-party use of such information. We may survey our users to measure their satisfaction with the Site and our services, and to help us learn more about our audience and how they interact with the Site. Third-party research firms may conduct these surveys on our behalf. We will not share, without your consent, any Personally Identifiable Information you submit in response to a survey with any company other than the research firm conducting the survey. We will, however, take the information you provide and aggregate it on an anonymous basis with data collected from other survey participants. We may use and disclose that pool of anonymous information, without identifying you personally. Collector Chassis also automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, cookie information and the page you request.

Personally Identifiable Information: If you list your vehicle for sale on our site, we may use information you submit to us in connection with your purchase of that listing, including your name and location and on third-party sites where we distribute or promote your listing. Collector Chassis collects your email address if you create an account through email. We collect your first and last name and your phone number to provide you quality customer service. Your credit card information is collected when you request to buy and/or sell on the Collector Chassis site and your billing address is collected to fulfill these orders. In addition, this information may be shared with other third parties in connection with our services, as detailed elsewhere in these Terms. We may use your Personally Identifiable Information to provide you with product information, support the services offered on the Collector Chassis Site and to notify you of technical updates, changes in policy or other customer services. We may contract with one or more third party agents to provide the Collector Chassis Site services. These third parties may include credit card processing companies, automobile valuation agencies, insurance companies, website designers, website hosting companies and others who assist in providing the information, systems or materials available through the Collector Chassis Site. Selected parts of your Personally Identifiable Information may be shared with these third party agents in order to provide you with the Collector Chassis service. We also use your Personally Identifiable Information to send you service-related emails (e.g., during active bidding, account verification, purchase and billing confirmations and reminders, changes/updates to features of the Collector Chassis Site, technical and security notices). You may opt out of Site related e-mails. We will retain your Personally Identifiable Information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If at any time user subscribed to receive Collector Chassis daily email digests of non-auction content, checked the box to “stay in the conversation via email” on a comment stream or requested to “Watch” an auction, users can opt out with unsubscribe links at the bottom of each email. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services contact us at team@collectorchassis.com. We will retain your Personally Identifiable Information for more than 12 months after the closure of your account, or the cessation of your usage of our Site or our services. In certain circumstances, we may retain your Personally Identifiable Information for longer if we are required to maintain your information in connection with a legal or regulatory action. This Personally Identifiable Information may be shared with other third parties in connection with our services, as detailed elsewhere in these Terms. These third parties may have access to Personally Identifiable Information, consistent with their own privacy policies and terms of use. These links may also enable you to opt out of this manner of data collection and advertising. All third parties we work with are required to keep your personal information private and secure. We will use appropriate measures to ensure that your personal information remains protected and secure when it is transferred outside your home country, in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws. These measures include data transfer agreements implementing standard data protection clauses.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information: We may share Non-Personally Identifiable Information. We use or may use cookies, log file, device identifiers, location data and clear gifs information to: (a) remember information so that you will not have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you visit the site; (b) provide custom, personalized content and information; (c) monitor the effectiveness of our service and Site; (d) monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors, traffic, and demographic patterns; (e) diagnose or fix technology problems reported by our users or engineers that are associated with certain IP addresses; (f) help you efficiently access your information after you sign in; and (h) track User Generated Content and users to the extent necessary to comply as a service provider with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, and (i) automatically update the Site application on your system and related devices.

Personally Identifiable Information: We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your Personally Identifiable Information with third parties except for the purposes of providing the Collector Chassis Site services to you, or with your explicit consent. We may share your Personally Identifiable Information with our trusted third party partners who assist us in operating the Collector Chassis Site, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep your Personally Identifiable Information confidential. As further described in this paragraph, Personally Identifiable Information collected from you is only disclosed by Collector Chassis to complete and support your purchases from and your use of the Collector Chassis service and to comply with any requirements of law. We will ask for your consent before using information for a purpose other than those that are set out in this Privacy Policy. Collector Chassis may also disclose Personally Identifiable Information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (1) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Collector Chassis; (2) protect and defend the rights or property of Collector Chassis or (3) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Collector Chassis, its Collector Chassis Site services or the public. Any Personal Identifiable Information or content that you voluntarily disclose for posting to the Site, becomes available to the public, as controlled by any applicable privacy settings. We may at any time buy or sell/divest the company, or any combination of its products, services, assets and/or businesses. Personally Identifiable Information such as customer names and email addresses, and other user information related to the Site will likely be one of the items transferred in these types of transactions. We may also transfer or assign such information in the course of corporate divestitures, mergers, acquisitions, bankruptcies, dissolutions or similar transactions or proceedings.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information: We may share Non-Personally Identifiable Information, including information obtained through tools such as cookies, log files, device identifiers, location data and clear gifs (such as anonymous usage data, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform types, number of clicks, etc.) with our third-party business partners. We may also aggregate or otherwise strip data of all personally identifying characteristics and may share that aggregated, anonymous data with our third-party business partners.

Online Advertising:  We may also share Non-Personally Identifiable Information with our business partners to deliver online advertisements (“ads”) that may be of interest to you. Collector Chassis may allow third-party ad servers or ad networks to place advertisements on the Site. These third-party ad servers or ad networks use technology to send, directly to your browser or mobile device, the ads and ad links that appear on the Site. These ad-servers and ad-networks automatically receive your IP address when this happens. They may also use other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript, device identifiers, location data, and clear gifs) to compile information about your browser’s or device’s visits and usage patterns on the Site (without using any Personally Identifiable Information), and to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize the advertising content. We do not provide information that is directly associated with a specific person (such as name and address) to an advertising network when you interact with or view a customized advertisement. However, when you view or interact with an advertisement, the advertiser may make an assumption that you are interested in the subject matter of the advertisement. In addition, third-party advertisers may use Non-Personally Identifiable information (e.g., information that does not include your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements on this and other websites about third-party goods and services that may be of interest to you. The Terms do not apply to, and we cannot control the activities or the content of, third-party advertisers. Browsing and interaction with any other website, including websites which have a link to our Collector Chassis Site, is subject to that website’s own terms and policies.

You are entitled to make certain choices about how we communicate with you. We will use your email address to send you notifications while using the Collector Chassis Site. If you do not want to receive marketing email from us, you can follow the unsubscribe link provided in those emails. You may opt out of these notifications at any time by sending an email to team@collectorchassis.com. We will send you strictly Collector Chassis Site related announcements on rare occasions when we deem it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our Collector Chassis Site is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we may send you an email. Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to deactivate your account. Opting Out of Collection of Personally Identifiable Information: You may, of course, decline to submit any Personally Identifiable Information through the Collector Chassis Site, in which case Collector Chassis may not be able to provide certain services to you. We will use commercially and technologically reasonable methods to remove your Personal Information. However, we may retain this Personal Information consistent with these Policies and as specified elsewhere, or if it is not commercially or technologically feasible to remove or modify this information, or for recordkeeping purposes, or to complete transactions, or when required by law.

Opt-out: You may opt-out of future email communications by following the unsubscribe links in our emails. You may also notify us at team@collectorchassis.com to be removed from our mailing list with the word “Opt Out of E-mail” in the subject, and your request in the body of the e-mail.

Access: You may access the personal information we have about you by submitting a request to team@collectorchassis.com with the word “Access My Personal Information” in the subject, and your request in the body of the e-mail.

Amend: You may contact us at team@collectorchassis.com to amend or update your personal information with the word “Amend My Personal Information” in the subject, and your request in the body of the e-mail.

Forget: In certain situations, you may request that we erase or forget your personal data. To do so, please submit a request to team@collectorchassis.com with the word “Forget My Personal Information” in the subject, and your request in the body of the e-mail.

Do Not Track Signals: Collector Chassis does not respond to Do Not Track signals or other mechanisms that provide consumers the ability to exercise choice regarding the collection of Personally Identifiable Information about an individual consumer’s online activities over time and across third-party Web sites or online services. As described in the following paragraph, you may disable cookies on your browser to prevent Collector Chassis or its business partners from tracking your browser’s activities in relation to the Service, and for use in targeted online advertising

Opting Out of Collection of Non-Personally Identifiable Information: The only way to completely “opt out” of the collection of any information through cookies or other technology is to actively manage the settings on your browser. Please refer to your browser’s technical information for instructions on how to delete and disable cookies, and other tracking/recording tools. Note that disabling cookies on your browser prevents Collector Chassis or its business partners from tracking your browser’s activities in relation to the Site, and for use in targeted online advertising. However, doing so may disable many of the features available through the Site.

Opting Out of Online Advertising: As noted above, we may share Non-Personally-Identifiable Information with our trusted third-party business partners to deliver online advertisements to your browser or mobile device through the Site, and/or to third-party websites and services.The Security of Your Information.

Safeguarding Measures: Collector Chassis has implemented commercially reasonable administrative, technical, personnel, and physical security measures designed to help protect the personal information stored in our systems against loss, theft and unauthorized use, disclosure or modification.  Technical measures also include use of firewall protection and in some instances may include encryption technology. We use commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of all information collected. No method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Notwithstanding the foregoing measures, Collector Chassis cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to Collector Chassis or guarantee that information on the Collector Chassis Site may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed. Although we take reasonable precautions to assess the reliability of such technology, we rely on the statements of the vendors of those products and services as part of its security evaluation.

Compromise of Information: In the event that any information under our control is compromised as a result of a breach of security, Collector Chassis will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and where appropriate, notify those individuals whose information may have been compromised and take other steps, in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations. Under no circumstances shall we be responsible or liable for unauthorized access to our servers, Site, services, storage systems, or any affiliated system or service, or third party system or service, from the failure to store or secure any data, from the deletion, corruption, destruction, alteration, damage, or loss of any data or information, even if such access results in harm to you or any other User, or any third party, and even if such damage was foreseeable. Such unauthorized access may include security intrusions, “hacking,” the engineering of access to our data or private services, or any similar unauthorized means of accessing our data in any form.

All information collected on the Collector Chassis Site, including Personally Identifiable Information, may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which Collector Chassis or its affiliates, subsidiaries or agents maintain facilities, and by using the Collector Chassis Site, you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country and the use and disclosure of information about you, including Personally Identifiable Information, as described in these Terms. The Site is not intended to be used outside of the United States, and may not be used by individuals located outside of the United States. We do not advertise or direct or Site or services towards individuals residing in the European Union.

Collector Chassis does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register as users. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. Collector Chassis will obtain the customer’s consent via email prior to posting the testimonial. Collector Chassis may post customer testimonials/comments/reviews on our Site which may contain Personally Identifiable Information.

This Privacy Policy applies only to this Site. The Collector Chassis Site may contain links to a third-party site that is not operated by Collector Chassis or its affiliates. If you visit another Collector Chassis website, please take a moment to review the privacy policy posted on that site before providing any Personally Identifiable Information to learn what information may be collected through that site and how it is processed. Third-party providers involved in the operation of the Collector Chassis Site (including, but not limited to, vendors of products and services and providers of, tools, and applications) featured on or linked to Collector Chassis Site may also collect information about you. Any personal information that Collector Chassis collects is kept as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law or our record keeping policies and practices. When we no longer have reason to retain your personal information it will be destroyed or anonymized in a manner designed to preserve its private and confidential nature, however archival copies may be impossible to delete.

Under California Civil Code sections 1798.83-1798.84, California residents are entitled to ask us for a notice describing what categories of personal information we share with third parties or corporate affiliates for those third parties or corporate affiliates’ direct marketing purposes. That notice will identify the categories of information shared and will include a list of the third parties and affiliates with which it was shared, along with their names and addresses. We take our commitment to protection of your privacy, as set out in this Policy, seriously. Nevertheless, NOTHING IN THIS PRIVACY AND SECURITY POLICY IS INTENDED TO CREATE OR PROVIDE ANY RIGHT OF ACTION FOR VIOLATION.

Collector Chassis may update this Privacy Statement to provide clarification or notice of changes to our practices. If we make changes, we will revise the “effective” date at the top of this Privacy Statement. We may not notify you prior to changes being made. If you disagree with these changes, you may cease using our Site and our services, and you may request that your user account, if any, be deleted or permanently disabled, and that we remove any information such as Personally Identifiable Information, to the extent technologically possible, and consistent with additional provisions in this Policy.
