Intro2006 BMW M3 convertible in Jet Black (668) over Black Nappa leather interior with the 3.2 Liter S54 6-cylinder engine. The M3 options in 2006 included Xenon headlights ($700), Harmon-Kardon sound system ($675), 19” M light alloy wheels double spoke polished ($1,750), and the SMG Sequential Manual gearbox ($2,400). The SMG pump was replaced in June 2024 by the first owner at Sansing BMW, Pensacola at a cost of $7,700 with a 24-month warranty. This M3 is a repeat visitor. The seller purchased the car in 2024 as a neglected non-driver and completed extensive mechanical restoration. It has 54k original miles and seller states the odometer has not turned over. Built 6/9/69, and delivered to Hoffman Motors of New York City. One of only 2,124 automatic-transmission early (round taillight) 2002s officially imported into the US, making this model very rare here. A survivor, it was found with its original owner in the desert above LA several years ago by someone searching for VW buses, who bought it on the spot and brought it to us. We bought it from him as soon as we saw it, and chose not to restore it but instead clear-coat the rust and leave it otherwise just the way we got it (after completely going through it mechanically to make it a reliable daily-driver and sometime loaner). It's also very popular with movie shoots and commercials, due to it's appearance.

Built 12/1/83 and delivered to Alpina in Buchloe for completion on 1/9/84. 1 of 73 E24 B9/3.5/1 models built. Sold originally in Japan, with an automatic I imported it from Japan in 2015, and have worked on and off on refreshing it since then, including repainting it, refinishing the wheels, installing a new, correct deko set (came to me with a late set, but with the car's age it should've had an early wide set on it, which it has now), and purposely not restoring the interior--even though the front seat fabric is sun-faded--because hey, it's only original once, right? And most of my other cars have been restored.
