Built 9/2/85 and delivered 9/17/85 to BMW of North America. 'Got a call from a woman in 2017 saying this car had been sitting in her grandparents' driveway for over 5 years after the fuel pump was stolen, so they couldn't move the car. And if I gave her $500 she'd deliver it to me. We replaced the pump, and have been driving it ever since as a loaner and a "truck" to haul stuff in its huge trunk. 'Plan to repaint it and fix the seats, p/w, heater & A/C someday.
