Intro

This is a 1982 BMW 323i in Ascot Grey with beige vinyl interior and a 1991 325i M20 engine with Motronic fuel injection mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. This Euro 323i was imported and federalized in Texas in 1983. It has a sunroof, aftermarket Italian wheels, Bilstein suspension and air conditioning. The seller purchased the car in Florida in 2013 when it showed 262,704 miles. The odometer currently reads 282,019 miles. It has a clear title and is in Massachusetts.

Exterior

This 323i was repainted in its original Ascot Grey in 2015. A new windshield and gasket were installed at that time. It has a sunroof and Hella 5 headlights. It has disc brakes on all four wheels with stainless steel braided brake lines and Bilstein Touring suspension. The alloy wheels are Italian MIM 15” diameter with correct offset wrapped in Continental Extreme Contact 205/50/15 installed at 276,935 miles.

Interior

The interior is upholstered in beige vinyl with air conditioning that is inoperable. Seller notes that all parts are there. The manually operated sunroof is fully functional with no leaks. The headliner has several small rips in the rear. Is has a Sony Bluetooth stereo, manually adjustable sport seats and Coco floor mats.

Mechanicals

The 1982 323i engine was replaced with a 1991 325i M20 with Motronic. It was installed in 2000 and the mileage on the M20 was unknown. It has a lightened BavAuto Sport Flywheel, Bav Auto Jim B. high performance computer chip, and the timing belt was replaced at 280,620 miles. A compression test was completed August 2024 with 190 psi measured across all 6 six cylinders. The transmission is a 5-speed manual with Korman short shift kit, and a new clutch was installed with the engine in 2000.
